In August, Dr. Rashid spoke in front of the marking panel and attendees at the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand AGM in Brisbane, chosen as one of only 3 finalists of the prestigious Ralph Reader Prize. Being chosen for this opportunity demonstrates the high quality and impactful work Dr. Rashid completed during her PhD on multidimensional spatial profiling of human heart failure. She continues her work in the lab to understand the complex interactions between cell types in human heart failure for the development of new targeted therapeutics.
